Can a GREEN PEEL® be done in summer? Yes, the GREEN PEEL® herbal peeling treatment is used in over 50 countries, including South Africa, where the sun shines almost all year round. A GREEN PEEL® treatment can be carried out at any time of year. However, intensive sunbathing should be avoided after a GREEN PEEL® Classic treatment, as the rejuvenated, fresh skin is particularly sensitive to the sun after the treatment.
Is a GREEN PEEL® treatment painful? There are 3 methods of GREEN PEEL® herbal peel treatment: Fresh up, Energy and Classic. In all three methods, our GREEN PEEL® herbs are massaged into the skin, which may cause tingling and pricking depending on the amount of pressure and the condition of the skin. However, this does not cause any pain, although the herbal massage may be a little uncomfortable. The stronger method, the GREEN PEEL® Classic, differs from the two lighter methods primarily in terms of pressure strength and duration. This is not a wellness treatment, but it is well tolerated.
Is a GREEN PEEL® aggressive? No, you will notice that the beautician does not wear gloves during the treatment. The herbal peel treatment is purely natural and contains no chemical substances or abrasive particles.
Does the skin have to peel after a GREEN PEEL® Classic? No. The extent to which the skin peels depends on the individual condition. This has no influence on the effect of the GREEN PEEL® herbal peel treatment. The herbs always trigger a renewal and regeneration process in the skin.
Can I no longer go outside after a GREEN PEEL® Classic? No, every skin is individual. It is not possible to say how severe the peeling will be before the treatment. For most customers, the peeling of the skin begins on day 3 after the treatment. On day 5, after the Beauty Finish treatment, the process is largely complete. If you do not want to be seen in public during the peeling process, you should schedule the herbal peeling treatment on a Wednesday. The peeling process will then take place over the weekend. The obligatory beauty finish after-treatment follows on the following Monday.
What is the difference between GREEN PEEL® and fruit acid/microneedling? The GREEN PEEL® herbal peel treatment is based on a medically developed and globally proven biological method that is purely natural. It is safe and can be used for almost any skin type, requires no equipment and solves a wide range of skin problems. A fruit acid peel, on the other hand, is a chemical peel based on lactic, citric, malic and tartaric acid. A fruit acid peel is preferably only carried out in the months with little sunshine, as extreme care must be taken with sun exposure in the summer months. A fruit acid peel requires 8-10 sessions at weekly intervals before results are visible. Microneedling is a relatively new instrument for treating aesthetic skin problems. It involves using numerous small needles to damage the skin at a shallow depth and stimulate self-regeneration. In addition, active ingredients are introduced into the skin during this cosmetic device treatment. Some skin problems can be improved with microneedling, e.g. scars, wrinkles, stretch marks.
Will a GREEN PEEL® treatment make my skin thinner and more sensitive? No, the skin is young and fresh after a GREEN PEEL® treatment. Of course, special care must be taken of this skin. With every GREEN PEEL® your skin becomes stronger, firmer and more resistant. The metabolism is stimulated, microcirculation and the interlocking of the skin layers are improved. This in turn ensures that the skin receives more oxygen and nutrients. The connective tissue fibers (collagen and elastin fibers) are activated and waste products are removed.
